I am very concerned for the foundations of the faith, which have become terribly weak among many church leaders, and, consequently, among many of the faithful:
Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. Jude 3
The teaching of the basics has fallen away in recent generations. We live in days of great decline, both in knowledge of God and in morals. Many church services tend toward the feelings-based and not knowledge-based. This is a poor foundation for witnessing God's Word. It is also a poor foundation for standing up to persecution and temptation, but even in these last days, men and women of faith and vision can make a difference in God’s service. The aim is to provide the knowledge to enable every believer to make that difference.
